Niae Tibbs

Niae Tibbs serves as a Program Advisor for the National Institute for Student Success at Georgia State University. In her role, she supports clients through diagnostic analysis, implementation coaching, and student success strategy development to strengthen systems that promote persistence and completion.
Niae brings extensive experience in student support, case management, and cross-campus collaboration, with a professional background rooted in higher education administration and student advocacy. Her work has focused on supporting students navigating complex personal, academic, and institutional challenges, while working closely with campus stakeholders to identify and address barriers to student success and improve operational processes.
Before joining NISS, Niae served in the Office of the Dean of Students at Georgia State University, where she coordinated student assistance efforts, crisis response, and care-related initiatives. Her passion for student success is grounded in a commitment to equity, holistic support, and the creation of institutional environments where all students can thrive.
Niae holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Fort Valley State University and a Master’s degree from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
