Evelina Pierce

As a Program Advisor at the NISS, Evelina Pierce supports clients through Diagnostic and Playbook and Implementation Services. Evelina brings more than fifteen years of experience advancing educational equity through nonprofit leadership, program development, and student success initiatives. Prior to joining NISS, she developed and scaled programs designed to support positive youth development and community engagement. Evelina’s passion for student success was shaped by years spent working directly with students, educators, and school communities across Georgia. Through these experiences, she grew a deep interest in the systems, policies, and practices that influence educational opportunity and outcomes. She is particularly interested in using data and research to drive organizational improvement and expand access to higher education. Evelina earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from Wesleyan University and a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management and Policy Analytics at Georgia State University. Her graduate studies focus on education policy, organizational design, and data analysis.
