Crystal Mitchell
Crystal Mitchell serves as the Director of the University Advising Center at Georgia State University. For 27 years, Crystal has served the Georgia State community in a variety of roles within the University Advising Center. From her tenure as an Academic Coordinator, Academic Advisor, Graduation Counselor, Senior Coordinator, Assistant Director, and Associate Director, Crystal has always been for the advancement of student success. Throughout her career, Ms. Mitchell has primarily focused on utilizing predictive analytics to implement strategic advising practices, developing cross campus collaborative initiatives, and innovative services in support of increasing the retention, progression, and graduation metrics at Georgia State University for two-year and four-year students.
Ms. Mitchell is a resident of Atlanta, Georgia, earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at Clayton State University and a Master of Education in Higher Education at Georgia Southern University.
