The Other Freshman Class

Because of the Covid-19 pandemic, college students in 2020's entering freshman class were denied the full freshman experience—figuring out who and what they liked, getting to know professors, experiencing life away from home, and making friends. Therefore, 2021's sophomore class was much like the freshman class when they returned to campus that fall—experiencing many aspects of college life for the first time. This article discusses the unique situation of this "other freshman class."
