As a program advisor, Dr. Abigail Ruth supports clients through diagnostic analysis and playbook development. She also coaches clients through implementing NISS recommendations on their campuses. Abigail began her career as a consultant before transitioning into K-12 and higher education. Her passion for educational equity was built through her experiences as a classroom teacher and as a researcher focusing on minoritized and under-resourced students and teachers in rural communities. In 2018, she began graduate school at Georgia State University, where she worked as an assistant in various roles within the Student Success department at Perimeter College’s Clarkston campus. Dr. Ruth holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in Gifted Education from Louisiana State University, and a Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies from Georgia State University.
