As a Program Advisor with the National Institute for Student Success (NISS), Chris Curtis works with colleges and universities nationwide to identify barriers to student success and support institutional improvement efforts. His work includes diagnostic analysis, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, playbook development, and implementation support. Chris began his career as a secondary social studies educator and has spent more than fifteen years helping learners and organizations achieve improved outcomes. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from The Pennsylvania State University and a Master of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology from the University of Georgia. Drawing on expertise in data analysis, performance improvement, coaching, instructional design, and change management, Chris helps institutions translate complex data into actionable strategies that improve student retention, persistence, and completion.
