Libia Jiménez Chávez

As a Program Advisor, Libia Jiménez Chávez supports clients in implementing NISS recommendations on their campuses. She brings extensive experience from the higher education and nonprofit sectors, where she has focused on empowering underrepresented students to access, navigate, and complete their university journeys. Her professional background includes consulting in the United States and abroad, as well as leadership roles in student success initiatives. In these roles, she worked directly to identify and address the barriers faced by underserved student populations. Libia is currently a PhD Candidate in History at the University of Georgia. She holds a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Rochester, and a Master’s degree in Human Rights from University College London. She also holds certifications in project management, development policy, fundraising, and Latin American Studies.
