Tyler Walsh is a Senior Program Advisor for the National Institute for Student Success at Georgia State University. In this role, Tyler serves as a Coach in the Diagnostic Process, supporting clients and building their Diagnostic Analysis and Playbook. He also conducts research for the NISS using Chatbots to improve course-level student outcomes.
Tyler began his career as a high school teacher and coach in Atlanta. Since 2016, he has served Georgia State University in various roles including course instructor, master course designer, course curriculum consultant, and Supplemental Instruction leader. Tyler earned two Master’s degrees in Cultural Anthropology and Political Theory from Georgia State University. His Bachelor’s degree is in History from the University of Florida.
Tyler has navigated the complex system that is higher education from both the student and student-support perspectives. These experiences inform his passion for positively impacting students across the nation.
