Davis graduated cum laude from Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Video. As a creative content producer, William Davis brings over 15 years of experience within and beyond Georgia State, where he now is the director and leader of the video and photography team for GSU’s Office of Public Relations and Marketing Communications. In this capacity, Davis oversees a team of innovative creatives who tell the university’s story internally and externally through photography and video. Some highlights of this work include producing visuals for Chris “Ludacris” Bridges’ honorary degree, President M. Brian Blake’s Investiture, Why Choose Georgia State? Admissions campaign, Annual Giving Day fundraising event with Development, and the latest institutional ad spot, The Place for All, airing across ESPN, ABC and HULU. Outside of Georgia State University, Davis has worked on a wide range of creative projects, including the conversion of James Cameron’s Titanic to 3D, motion graphics animation for Wired and Hulu, content producer for the University Innovation Alliance and as a consultant for the MINE animated web series which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2021.
